(P1) There are no balance requirements for this account. A monthly service fee of $1.50 applies to this account. $1.00 may be waived if you elect for our online statement option or recurring direct deposit.
(P2) There are No minimum average available balance requirements for children under 18. Opening Deposit required is $25 for children under 18. All accounts will incur a $1.00 per withdrawal/debit over 3 per statement cycle. A $2.00 Low Balance Service Fee is charged when the Average Available (collected) Balance (AAB)** is below $100.00 for the statement period.
(P3) All Accounts will incur a $10.00 per withdrawal/debit over 6 per statement cycle, $1.00 per deposit over 4 per statement cycle and $0.25 per deposited item over 20 per statement cycle.
(P4) Available upon request with a charge.
**The (AAB) is calculated by adding the available principal balance in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period. The available balance is the account balance, less unpaid deposited items drawn on other financial institutions in the process of collection. Allow time for outstanding checks to clear and automatic debits and credits to switch over. Destroy your ATM and/or debit card(s), any unused checks and deposit slips.
Notify anyone making direct deposits to your previous account of your new Grinnell State Bank account information. For your convenience we have packets that include Direct Deposit Authorization Forms available at each of our locations. To ensure payment has been made to your account, please monitor accounts closely.

Notify anyone deducting automatic payments (insurance, phone service providers, gym etc.) from your previous account of your new Grinnell State Bank account information.
Your Switch Kit will include Automatic Payment Forms to assist you in quickly making this change.
After all your checks and automatic payments have cleared, close your previous checking account.
